Vogue's Fashion Night Out

It's been a bit late coming, because I have been super busy, and I always knew it was going to be a biggie (really biggie) as it was definitely one of the highlights of my year, if not LIFE. I was so fortunate to be able to share this special event with Natalie (fellow blogger from Maisie Ivy) and my little sister Roo (see her lifestyle blog here). Before the event, Natalie and I had planned a super strict itinerary which, inevitably, completely fell through. It was super difficult to decide what to go to in so little time - between Spinningfields, Deansgate and Exchange Square, it was so impossible to prioritise!

We stopped at Miss Selfridge to get a quick polaroid photo only to be Street Style-d straight after by Gap, so we headed over to their event (mostly pulled in by free milkshakes). Here we were treated to delicious shakes (Oreo for me, please) and then posed for photos for a competition held by the Manchester Street Style, the Mancorialist. Already everything was starting to feel a bit surreal!

Selfridges was completely crazy - you can see from the photos how crowded it was, to the point where we couldn't tweet or Instagram because the signal crashed!  Festival-esque.  There were massive queues for complementary candy floss, popcorn, Chanel manicures (gutted I missed out) and, of course, a free bar. The most surreal moment of the night was DJ Jameela Jamil pointing at me across the crowd and mouthing that she loved my jumpsuit! Amazing!

In Harvey Nichols, there were amazing DJs, lots of competitions (I partook in giant Snakes and Ladders!) and lots of free champagne. They had also put up temporary Wendy Houses for select designers, such as Sophia Webster, to personalise the official FVNO t-shirts.

The photos are a mixture of Roo's and Natalie's work. I sadly can't take credit for any of them as I am a bit handicapped in that department. I hope they capture this unforgettable event even a little bit for you.

I felt like this night had been completely designed with me in mind... Utter heaven.
