Androgynous

Masculine-Feminine

an·drog·y·nous
having both masculine and feminine characteristics
neither clearly masculine nor clearly feminine in appearance

Androgyny has been a key concept for the past few seasons, both in shape (think oversized coats and jackets) and styling. For me, there is a certain undeniable power from steering away from the expected, conventional female silhouette. The no-fuss aspect, both practically and in its subliminal message to whomever you may encounter that day, is also attractive and, arguably, quite unique. Certainly out of my comfort zone however, I  realised there was no way I could commit wholeheartedly... Cue (limited) make-up, baby pink nails and ring upon ring upon ring.
