Embrace Structured Tailoring

An outfit in - what else - Zara tailoring

ZARA waistcoat, bralet and shorts, ASOS watch, INDIA necklace and VINTAGE ring

Allow me to set the scene... Craig David through the speakers, a recent trip to Spain to pick up Zara's latest offerings (insta post of said Spanish trip coming soon), Dottie making silly faces at me and a two hour slot until I caught my train to Manchester.

Structured tailoring, especially with a revamp like in these pieces - check mango colour or semi-transparent back on waistcoat - are your go-to for polished, smart-casual outfits. The variety is large: blazers, waistcoats, t-shirts, trousers, shorts... Take your pick, odds are it will work.
Add a little lace by way of over much coveted brassieres (why are they so addictive) if you're feeling a little racy. My excuse? Why, it was a Friday.

P.S. Piece by Piece Style has been SHORTLISTED for the Company Style Blogger Awards under the category of 'Best Personal Style - Newcomer' - thank you SO much to all of you who voted!! I'm so shocked/ excited/ flattered!
