Winter Dressing: One Piece and Stan Smith

ZARA jumpsuit (similar here), ZARA jumper (similar here), MANGO necklace,

Back with another more seasonal-appropriate post, after a lot of gallivanting around South East Asia with my parents. 10 days of cliff jumping, snorkelling, smoothie-drinking and Pad Thai-eating …to be finished off, sadly, with food poisoning and a lost iPhone. (I’m thankful it wasn’t my passport or my camera).

This outfit definitely demonstrates that winter does not have to be boring: I’ve always been a big advocator of the one-piece (evidence here and here), as it still remains such an unusual and fun shape to play with. It’s easy to layer under this one-suit.

You might recognise my new trainers, they’re quite popular these days? They’re called Stan Smith? These sneaks have all but taken over street/ sportswear, especially within the fashion sphere - even taking over Nike Frees. Originally I presumed this Pheobe Philo-led trend were to be short-lived, but they’ve persisted to come somewhat of a staple (as well as expanding from the original into some funky new versions) - one that I could no longer deny myself.

I'm writing this in a freezing cold hostel in Yunnan province (China) where I'll be backpacking for three weeks… blogging is going to be a bit tricky for a while: slo-o-o-o-w Wifi, the lost phone, long bus journeys and jungle trekking as primary obstacles. Sometimes you have to prioritise and, right now, I need to make the most of this opportunity, enjoy my surroundings and stay away from screens (especially if it's watching a page load for 12 minutes).
